The workout: A 15-minute stationary ball handling workout for a driveway, bedroom, or pre-practice warm-up. Start with one-hand pattern chains, then change the ball's height and path, move into push-pulls and wrap-arounds, and finish with body wraps and low crossovers. Every drill keeps the feet planted, so the work stays on the dribble: complete the named sequence, keep the bounce under control, and look up between changes.
When court space is limited, removing movement makes the ball and stance easier to read. This stationary ball handling workout stays in one athletic base while its eight drills change the hand pattern, bounce height, and direction. The first two sequences are done one hand at a time. The middle blocks send the ball forward and back, then around the body and through the legs. The final crossover work asks for two setup pounds before the change. Use a ball and enough floor space to keep a safe stance.
Use completion of every listed dose while following the observable drill cues as a self-check. If a player cannot complete the listed dose with those cues, repeat the same dose before adding speed, repetitions, or resistance. This is a practice recommendation, not a guarantee of readiness or results.
