The workout: This full court basketball conditioning workout structures specific drills on an open court. Players perform linear sprints, change-of-direction cuts, and lateral shuffles. Rather than long-distance jogging, the session lists high-velocity movements with a basketball. This layout allows players to practice dribble height, head position, arm drive, hip depth, balance, hip level, foot spacing, and plant angles. The routine contains four structured blocks to practice these movements sequentially.

The full court basketball conditioning workout provides a structured sequence of ball handling, linear acceleration, and lateral footwork. The session lists drills that ask players to maintain dribble height, observe footwork patterns, and practice change-of-direction cuts. Solo players and team members perform these sequences to practice deceleration and acceleration patterns. The layout sequences linear sprints, change-of-direction cuts, and lateral shuffles to let players practice their conditioning. Throughout the session, players observe their head position, arm drive, hip depth, balance, hip level, foot spacing, and plant angles during high-velocity movements.

How to progress

Use completion of every listed dose while following the observable drill cues as a self-check. If a player cannot complete the listed dose with those cues, repeat the same dose before adding speed, repetitions, or resistance. This is a practice recommendation, not a guarantee of readiness or results. Players track their progress by observing their balance, footwork, and dribble height.
