The ball tap push-up is an effective basketball drill that hones a player’s dribbling ability and arm strength. To get started, get into the standard push-up position and place the basketball in front of you. Then, do a single push-up while at the highest point touching the basketball with alternating hands. As this exercise is repeated, players should be able to quicken their hand speed and develop better control of their basketball skills. The ball tap push-up serves as an excellent workout too!
